Although I didn’t know anyone else who was an explorer,I understood Wilfred Thesiger who was famous for the romance of his whole life below.
It was an amazing life that Wilfred Thesiger created.That he crossed Empty Quarter of Arabian desert which was the largest and highest risk of accident area in the world and that challendged marsh Arabs in southern Irai and that even he was the person who published lots of books.
He was born in 1911,lived in a mud building in Addis Ababa with his father who was a diplomat.When he was three years old, he started tolearn ride.Then he got involved in hunting until carried to England when he was 8 years old.After he graduated from colledge he found the source of Awash river in Abyssinia and soon he explored Tibesti mountains of Chad where he got the excitement of hunting period,including shoting lions,buffalo and elephants and even killed a hippo with a spear due to his hobby.He thrown himself into the war before he went to Syria with Druse horsemen during the World War 11.In 1950s he relaxed himself through travelling Pakistan where he took photos and kept diary which was written in a book about this experience.In mid 1990s he was still strong and had lived in nursing home near London where he received operetions on his eyes since he returned to England from Kenya.While he never regretted that he didn’t marry and bringed up a child as well.
